Maria, 28 years old, has had neuronal muscular atrophy since birth. For years she has only been able to move her eyes, is ventilated and fed through a tube. It communicates via a computer with eye control. Maria is Greek and lives in Munich with her family, who come from Corfu. The last time she was in her Greek homeland
for her second birthday. She finally managed to convince a doctor from the children’s palliative care team to go on the trip. The film shows that joy in life does not always depend on a healthy body. And what we can achieve together.

Maria, de 28 anos, tem atrofia muscular neuromuscular desde o nascimento. Há anos, ela só consegue mover os olhos, precisa de ventilação mecânica e se alimenta por sonda. Ela se comunica por meio de um computador, controlando os olhos. Maria é grega e mora em Munique com a família, que é originária de Corfu. A última vez que ela esteve em sua terra natal, a Grécia, foi para comemorar seu segundo aniversário. Ela finalmente conseguiu convencer um médico da equipe de cuidados paliativos pediátricos a acompanhá-la na viagem.
